Another way to sew a bulk shopping bag from old jeans is a step-by-step master class.

This roomy bag is made in the shape of a trapezoid. Its highlight is that the original processed seams from the inside of the jeans are here outside, becoming a decorative element. However, if you want, you can leave the inside out and the face face. Two identical belts were used for handles; their buckles also become a bag decoration. If you wish, you can trim the buckles, making the bag more minimalistic and restrained.

A bag of old jeans in 20 minutes: a master class

Step 1

Cut out the front and back of the bag. To do this, measure the same distance from the bottom of each jeans leg (equal to the height of the bag) and cut off the leg. Cut each along the outer seam along. Spread the legs, fold one on top of another, pin with pins. Mark the part in the form of a trapezoid and cut out two identical parts at once.

Step 2

From the remaining parts of the jeans, cut out the details for the side parts. We need 2 vertical parts equal to the long side of the trapezoid + allowances for the seams, and 1 lower part for the bottom of the bag (it can be double). The width of all side parts is the same.

Step 3

Fold the parts as shown in the photo, pin them together and sew on the machine. In this example, the upper edges of the side parts of the bag remain unprocessed, you can process them (then, when cutting, add processing allowances).
