Natural materials, silver Christmas-tree decorations and table setting in blue and white tones will create a cozy New Year's atmosphere no matter what the weather is outside!

Pleasant surprises

Your gifts will not be left unattended if you wrap them not in plain paper, but in a fabric painted with New Year's motives (photo above).

YOU WILL NEED: Creamy linen or cotton fabric; black paint on fabric (Marabu); cardboard stencils with New Year's motives and letters; short-brushed brush or sponge for applying paint; duct tape; glass container for paint.

HOW TO MAKE: wash, dry and iron the fabric. Apply New Year's motives and letters to the fabric with black paint. To do this, put the desired stencil arbitrarily on the fabric and fix it with adhesive tape. Apply the motive to the fabric through the stencil using a sponge or a short-haired brush, picking up a little bit of paint on the sponge or brush so that it does not leak out of the contour of the stencil.

Tip: a sheet of cardboard should be placed under the fabric so that no paint stains remain on the working surface. Carefully remove the stencil. Then re-apply this or another stencil on the fabric and apply a new motif similarly. In this way, apply the desired New Year's motifs and letters throughout the fabric. Leave the fabric to dry completely, iron the fabric from the wrong side to fix the paint. Cut the fabric into rags of the right size and pack gifts.

We ask to the table!

Glasses, as if covered with frost, cedar cones and shiny Christmas toys give the table a festive look.

YOU WILL NEED: Wine glasses or glasses for champagne; carafe; Frost Design paint (water-based paint to create a "frosty" effect on glass), as well as a sponge for applying paint; stencils with New Year's motives; plate.

HOW TO MAKE: Rinse the glasses thoroughly with hot water and leave to dry completely. Stick the stencil with the desired motif (either self-adhesive, or spray on the surface of the stencil on one side to fix it) to the glass. Pour some paint on a plate, gently pat the sponge in the paint. Using a sponge, apply a layer of paint to the glass through the stencil. Tip: Do not apply paint to the upper edge of the glass (drinking area). Leave the paint to dry a little. Then apply a second coat of paint in the same way. Carefully remove the stencil. Leave the paint to dry completely. Then fix the paint by firing in the oven according to the manufacturer's instructions.
