Shooting

The audience is full of the audience, all waiting. And now: silence, motor, shooting began. Alexander Vasiliev presents guests of the fashion expert Marianna Makarova. Marianne talks about the features of the model, about interesting nodes and how to properly execute them. The jacket is simple, but it has its own highlight - the open sections of the shelves are edged with artificial blue suede, which we purchased in the Podium fabric store.To achieve this effect, you can use ready-made rep or twill tape, as well as a wide oblique inlay.

Oversized jacket

The dialogue between the two professionals reveals to the studio guests and spectators all the secrets of tailoring a loose jacket without a collar - this is model 117 B from Burda magazine 9/2015. One-piece maxi-lapels with shelves easily smell. Instead of a fastener - a long belt that is threaded through the slot, due to this effect the lapel is beautifully draped. Also, the belt can be tied as usual. Kimono sleeves with wide lapels allow you to vary their length. The jacket does not have a lining, which is why fashion experts recommend sewing this model from fabrics in which both sides can be used as front ones. We found one in the Trio fabric store. But this can be the so-called double-faced fabrics of one or two colors, or cuts with textured weaving of threads, which allows you to choose either side as the front.

Sewing a jacket will not take you much time. Our editor, Julia Dekanova sewed it for this program in a couple of days.
The model is made of soft woolen fabric with a small pile, which holds its shape well. The jacket will be warm and comfortable. On cold days, you can safely put on a sweater, a free cut model allows you to properly warm up.
