Choosing a bride's dress is one of the most important moments in the process of preparing for the wedding. What to look for first?

Dress color

At first glance it seems that there are not so many options for choosing the color of a wedding dress. However, there are dozens of shades of white! Therefore, you need to know for sure which shade is right for you.

How to determine your shade?

Rule number 1

Focus on what season the wedding is planned. The activity of the sun in different months of the year is different, and the brighter the sun, the whiter the color of the dress should be. That is why dresses look so exquisite in pure white in spring, and ivory or milk in autumn. For the same reason, focus on the style of the place where you plan to hold a wedding, as well as how much time and what time of day you are planning an event.

In particular, a wedding in the open air and by the sea involves matte fabrics, unbleached white, linen white, alabaster and chalk - ideal shades for this occasion. If the event is planned to be held in a banquet hall, the decor of which is made in a rather restrained range of deep tones, then the white color can be with a slight grayish tint, as well as milk and creamy shades of white.

Rule 2

Pay attention to the color of your teeth and eye proteins. If the tone of the teeth is milky white or yellowish, try to avoid bright white in clothing. You can check this while trying on a dress - just smile and see how your smile looks in dresses of different shades of white. Choose only those tones that best emphasize all the advantages of your appearance. As a rule, for this it is necessary to try on about 10-15 shades.

Dress silhouette

After the right shade of white is selected, it's time to decide on the silhouette of the dress. Examine your figure in front of the mirror. How close is it to the ideal hourglass? If your figure resembles a guitar or an hourglass, choose silhouette models with a lightweight body. At the same time, skirts with a train will visually make your legs simply infinitely long.

If the figure requires visual correction, we will work with optical illusions! The principle is very simple - pay attention to where the key center of gravity is distributed - in the upper, lower or central part of the body.
If you have a large top, but at the same time slender legs - choose models with a lush lower part. If there are lush hips, with an elegant top, choose models with a complex design of the neckline. If you have a tummy, choose case models or a cut with a high waistline, as well as images in the style of flapper dresses from the time of the NEP.

Hairstyle style

Hairstyle does not play the last role in the image of the bride. Deciding on a hairstyle style is not so easy, because you need to consider many factors. Where to begin? Pay attention to the neckline of the dress.

Perfect makeup

Thinking over makeup, focus primarily on the idea that is embedded in the cut of your dress. Are there rhinestones in that part of the dress where it comes into contact with exposed skin? Which lace is thin or, conversely, stiff and coarse? All this is extremely important to consider when choosing makeup.

If the fabric is smooth, with a slight matte sheen, but at the same time quite tough, we recommend choosing makeup with a slight sheen, satin textures, arrows are acceptable, in some cases smoky eyes.
