The main thing is to pick up the bright materials that you like. And to sew this rug with your own hands is very simple! It is suitable for a bathroom, nursery or hallway.
To decorate such a rug, you can take the remnants of lace or ribbons of different types or specially select several different types of lace that are in harmony with each other in the store. By the way, in the store you can ask about the presence of residues of different braid. The fabric can be taken in bright or more calm colors - the main thing is that the materials look good together. If you make a bath mat, you can use terry towels. A soft synthetic material is suitable for a rug in a hallway or a nursery.

Mat from old jeans: a master class
Step 1
Prepare your materials. Iron the fabric. Ribbons and braid cut into pieces of the same length.Choose the length to your liking - depending on how long you want to make a fringe. Keep in mind that each piece of braid will be folded in half and do not forget about seam allowances.
Step 2
Draw on each type of fabric and cut out two identical parts of the rug, front and back. In this case, the mat is square. Focusing on your amount of braid and the desired "density" of fringe, outline the places of attachment of the braid segments.
Step 3
With the bottom part of the mat facing up, pin the pieces of braid to the designated places. Fold each piece in half and direct it toward the center of the part with a fold.
Step 4
Pin the tape around the entire perimeter of the carpet.
Step 5
Sew around the perimeter, sewing on the fringe. Watch to sew on both layers.
Step 6
On the part with the fringe sewn, lay the part of the top of the rug face down, align and pin it.
Step 7
Sew around the perimeter, leaving a hole for turning out.
Step 8
Turn out the rug and iron it.
Step 9
Chip the hole with pins and sew it. Done!
