In a soft fabric case, it is convenient and safe to store not only scissors, but also pins, needles, cutters, as well as other piercing and cutting accessories.

You will need:

  • linen,
  • cotton fabric,
  • threads
  • scissors,
  • trick marker
  • chalk pencil
  • tailor's
  • pins
  • scale bar
  • template

Step 1

From the linen, cut out the part of the case with allowances for seams approx. 2.5 cm, jokes pattern from the wrong side. Using a chalk pencil, trace the contours of the template and translate the markup onto the fabric.

Pattern pattern

A4 format
Depending on the size of the scissors, you can reduce or enlarge the pattern.

Step 2

If necessary, lay out stitch stitches or stick pins along the outline of the pattern. On the front side of the part, lay the finishing stitches in random order (in the center and on the small triangle to the right).

Step 3

Pin the template to the part again. Using the trick marker, circle the contours of the template and mark the allowances along all edges of 1 cm. Cut the allowances of the part to this width.

Step 4

Place the part of the linen case on the cotton fabric (lining) with the front side to the front side, pin and cut.

Step 5

Stitch the details of the case and the lining along the contour, leaving a small area for turning out in the seam open.Cut corners and seam allowances to a width of 2 mm. Turn out the case. Align corners and edges.

Step 6

Iron one edge of the case onto the front side, pin and stitch.

Step 7

Put the case upside down. Now unscrew the second edge to the seamy side to the seam of the first edge of the sewing, pin and stitch.

Step 8

Fold the case in the middle, pin and stitch the lower part along the edges. In this case, the open area in the seam will be stitched.
