Spring in Siberia is very insidious, but we are not too fast-witted, we will not wait for the month of May - we will create warmth and comfort in the house with our own hands!
Pompons seem to be created for this - soft, fluffy, perky.
So, to maintain the spring mood in the house you need: threads, scissors, a device for making pompons, twigs.
Any thread is suitable - pile, boucle, smooth yarn, old or new, plain or melange. If you use yarn from a recently dissolved thing - a mischievous curly pompom will come out.
A surprisingly cheerful yarn smiled at me in the store (96% acrylic, 4% nylon, 185 m / 50 g, for knitting needles 2-3 mm). From one skein came 22 medium density pompons. The threads fastening the pompom do not need to be cut, they are useful for fixing on branches.
Twigs can be easily replaced with wooden skewers for barbecue or wire. And you can take live twigs, put them in water and get blooming young leaves as a bonus to the fervent pompoms! After wandering around the microdistrict for a week or two, I still could not find suitable twigs (mostly poplars are planted and chopped), I had to go to the cottage and mow the overgrown mountain ash.
That's all - the positiver is ready! It is hoped that the leaves will have time to appear on the bright holiday of Easter.
P.S. 6 days have passed - the branches gave out not only leaves, but also inflorescences. I did not expect this))
